You can add, remove or replace PC*MILER Web users at any time, but the way to do it depends on how you purchased your subscriptions. Most changes are made in the Account Settings page, which is opened in the left side menu.



There are two types of PC*MILER Web subscribers:

  • Enterprise customers who purchased PC*MILER Web subscriptions directly through Trimble Maps sales.
  • Self-service customers who subscribed on their own using a credit card.

Note: You must be an Account Administrator for your company's PC*MILER Web account in order to add, remove or replace users.


Adding Users

On the Account Settings screen, the number of users you can add to the account is listed under Current Users. This is the number of PC*MILER Web subscriptions you have purchased, minus the number of subscriptions you have already assigned to Current Users.



If you have additional users available, select Add User to Account, and enter that person's name and email address. They will receive a welcome email that directs them to log in and begin using PC*MILER Web.


If you do not have users available and would like to purchase additional premium subscriptions:

  • Enterprise customers: Please contact your sales representative or our support team.
  • Self-Service customers: In the Subscription Info section on the Account Settings page, increase the Number of Users and select Update Billing at the bottom of the page. Your billing will increase to reflect the additional subscriptions. 


Note: Users on the same account share access to custom data created via ContentTools, but each user must maintain their own Application Settings and Vehicle Routing Profiles.


Removing Users

You can remove a user on the Account Settings screen by selecting Remove (trash can icon) next to the user you want to remove. After deletion, that user's subscription is available to assign to a new user. (Under Account Users, the number of additional users available goes up by one after you delete a user.)


If you delete a user and you want to lower your overall number of users to change your billing rate:

  • Enterprise customers: Please contact your sales representative or our support team.
  • Self-Service customers: In the Subscription Info section on the Account Settings page, decrease the Number of Users and select Update Billing at the bottom of the page. Your billing will decrease to reflect the reduction in subscriptions.


Replacing Users

If you would like to replace a user with a new user, select Replace Use next to the name of the user you want to replace. Enter the new user's name and email address and select Replace. The new user will receive a welcome email that directs them to log in and begin using PC*MILER Web.
