When PC*MILER calculates a route, it draws a route line on the map. You can click and drag that route line to add additional stops on your route or to customize the route path. To drag a route:

  1. Add all of the stops on your route to the route card. The route calculates and a route line is drawn on the map.
  2. On the map, hover the cursor over the section of the route line you want to drag. A dot and the phrase Drag to change route appear on the route line.
  3. Click and hold the right mouse button. Drag the cursor to the location where you want to add a new stop or the new road you want the route to follow. A dot and the phrase Drag to change route appear on the new road.
  4. Release the mouse button and a new route line, following the new road, appears on the map.
  5. The route is recalculated with a new stop on the new road.

If you want to start over with the original route, or try to drag the route to another road, delete the newly added stop from the route card. PC*MILER automatically recalculates the original route.
